Tea 106: Preparation, Consumption, & Health, Aug 5 – Sept 9

This course will also cover the health of tea: what are the health benefits, myths and facts. Taste and evaluate teas that are representative of each region.

Prerequisite: TEA 101

Note: Students are only permitted to enroll in 2 courses at the same time.

  • Preparation & Consumption
  • History of tea preparation
  • Consumption habits today
  • Health Benefits
  • Cupping/Tasting

Included in course registration:

  • Teas
  • Real time, weekly, face-to-face with instructor (using web based meeting forum)
  • Student chat forum
  • Videos explaining cupping/tasting
  • Course Book

Length: Tea 106 is a six week course, with the suggestion that you designate approximately 3 hours each week to read, watch the video, complete the cupping and speak to the instructor. Each week you will be required to meet with the instructor online.
