Lemon Lime Iced Tea

Preparation time 10 min

Makes 11 cups (2.75 L)



orange pekoe or green tea bags

8 cups (2 L)

boiling water

355 ml can

frozen concentrated lemonade or limeade

1/2 to 1 cup (125 to 250 mL)

white rum (optional)

1 each

lemon and lime


Ice cubes


Add tea bags to boiling water.

Steep for 3 min.

Remove bags, then immediately add frozen lemonade and stir until completely dissolved.

Sweeten with sugar or honey, if needed.

Refrigerate at least until cold. Then stir in rum to taste.

To serve, place a few ice cubes in a large pitcher.

Thinly slice lemon and lime and add.

Pour tea mixture over-top.
